Here is what you can expect:
Caterpillars should result in at least 3 healthy butterflies per cup.
Moths should emerge in good shape within 4 weeks.
Ladybugs should arrive with at least 75% of insects alive and active.
Praying Mantis egg cases will hatch at least 20 to 30 nymphs from one egg case.
Bessbugs should arrive alive and active.
Harvester Ants should arrive alive and active.
Hornworms will grow to at least 3 inches.
When insects do not arrive or arrive in poor condition, we try to deliver replacements on the Thursday following the original delivery date. Please call no later than noon MST on the Monday following your delivery.
When insects fail to hatch or complete metamorphosis, let us know which is best for your classroom: replacement, refund or credit for next year!
Replacements will be delivered on the next available delivery date. To receive refund or credit you must notify us within 3 months after delivery.
